Punta Rock is a music style with an original sound and an emphasis on rhythm and most thoroughly identified with Belize.The Belizean artist & musician who resides since 1990 in Germany formed in 1998 with his wife Ingrid and their three kids the band "The Cayetanos". In the beginning of 2000 the family band recorded their first CD entitled "Punta Rock. Pen Cayetano himself created the Punta Rock in the early 80s in his home Belize. This special music mix crosses the cultural heritage of the traditional Garifuna rhythm into the modern world . This way the music can survive and reach a next generation.
